Here is the first post of a new serie. I love to see my paper bunnies in their new home. I’ll be sharing once a month an interior of a customer showing his paper bunny. I received so many beautiful images I can’t wait to share with you.
So for the first one, here is Alessandra Aghilar’s super cute baby boy nursery. Alessandra contacted me a few months ago when she was still expecting and in the process of decorating her baby’s nursery. She wanted a paper bunny to add in her little boy woodland and asked for specific colors. I am in love with the result, it’s a very fun, happy and fresh space! And you can see we choose the same stickers triangles for the wall, they look just perfect with the bunny.
How gorgeous are this vintage crib and blanket?! And the baby! Adorable! I am so glad the woodland bunny was adopted by this beautiful family in a happy home!
If you want to share images of your bunny in your home, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and remember you can win another paper friend by entering this contest!
And get ready for some new bunny colors coming to the shop very soon!
I dropped these guys and a few kits at Lavish last friday. It is a super cute little store in Hayes Valley. Full of fun and colorful products, the perfect place for my bunnies.
Also remember there’s a 20% off my shop to celebrate easter until april 10th. Enter the coupon code HAPPYEASTER when checking out!
Have a beautiful week.
I’ve always loved the Acapulco chair! Seeing Lula so relaxed on that little kid chair in Ojai last weekend gave me one good reason to buy her a little chair of her own. I think I might go with the lemon one. What do you think? And if I could have myself one that match it would be even better! I love the version made by CB2, the multi colors would be really fun in our backyard.
Here are a few things I got for Lula in New York: a Metrocard rattle hand knitted by Estella, a NY hotdog pretzel tee by Piccolini, a neon pink K-WAY, those adorable colorful knitted booties at Thomas Sires (an adorable boutique in Nolita) and the donut map for me!
2013 was definitely the best year of my life! A year so full of joy! I was lucky to work for clients I’ve always dreamed to work for such as Milk Magazine, Cosmopolitan Magazine, Gap Baby among many others. A beautiful trip to Maui and fun weekends in Coachella, Palm springs, Los Angeles, NY…! I enjoyed so much being pregnant and the birth of my baby girl was the most beautiful and magical moment. I had so much fun working on my baby announcement and decorating her nursery. All the new beautiful and talented people I met and friends I made! The workshops I’ve been to, the new techniques I learned. And I am so thankful for all the bunny customers. I am so glad for all the support and encouraging words. Thank you thank you thank you!
Here is to 2014! I am looking forward to see my baby girl growing up (even if I wish she’d stay small), seeing her first steps and listening to her first words. And I am so exciting for the future illustration projects I’ll be working on! I am also working on new products for the shop I hope I’ll be able to share soon. I hope 2014 is a year of travel: South America, Morocco, Japan… and starting with France in february! My brother, grand-parents and friends will finally meet Lula! I am so so excited and impatient. We are also planning on a road trip to Arizona in spring! How fun!
As for my resolutions, I want to learn more about knitting and weaving. I want to learn ukulele! My husband offered my one for christmas! Now I don’t have anymore excuses not to do it. Also getting back to running, read more and find a hobby to share with my husband, we’ve been talking about taking lessons together, maybe photography or cooking…
