Dress – Sandro, Sunglasses – Illesteva, Sandals – Old Navy, Basket – Vintage
I fell in love with this dress as soon as I saw it in the shop and had to get it even if I know I won’t be able to wear it for long with my fast growing belly (good thing I got it on sale)! Sadly our family vacations in Greece came to an end. It was such a fun and relaxing trip. The island of Paros where we spent the week is super charming, we loved walking around, eating Greek food, shopping for souvenirs and taking the boat to beautiful beaches. I’ll post more photos next week.
We are back at my parent’s in Lyon (France) and celebrated Lula’s second birthday today with my family. I can’t believe she is 2, just like that. I remember every details of the day of her birth like it was yesterday. And I can’t believe she is going to be a big sister in 3 months!!! I am now looking at the date on my computer and read August 22nd, my due date is November 22!
Enjoy your weekend!
PS: Lula and I are featured on Babiekins Magazine today, I answered a few questions about art and motherhood, check out the interview here!

Spent mostly at our hotel’s pool and in restaurants because of the heat! I am not used to stay at a hotel when I go on vacation, I like to discover places, walk around, go to the museums, shopping … but seriously, it was way too hot to do anything else other than be in the pool. On saturday, after brunch I tried to go for a little walk by myself in the Old Town of Scottsdale for the beautiful Navajo jewelries, but after 20 minutes I couldn’t stand the heat anymore so I just went back to the hotel and join my girl for a nap. On Sunday we went to visit the Franck Lloyd right foundation but it was only a guided tour and the lady advised us to come back on Monday, early in the morning so it would be nicer/safer for Lula, me and the baby. Unfortunately Monday (today), I was at my desk working. So it was not the most productive weekend but a very colorful and relaxing one. And Lula’s happy place is the pool anyway!

I am so excited to share with you about Quinny’s new special edition South Beach Collection. This gorgeous Zapp Xtra stroller was offered to us last week and I couldn’t wait to go on a stroll with Lula. How cool is this pink pastel color with accents of neon?! It fits perfectly with our colorful world and just in time for summer. As soon as we unfolded the stroller, Lula jumped in it ready to go! And trust me, it hasn’t been easy having her stay in her stroller lately.
That face! Lula is wearing a Zara jumpsuit, Vans and Hello Shiso hairpin.
I am wearing an Ace & Jig hoodie (one of my favorite brand! they have the softest fabrics, so comfortable! if only I could own all their dresses and shorts!), Zara denim dungarees, jellies from American Apparel and earrings bought in an Arizona Indian’s reservation last summer.
I just realized while looking at the photos that we were so in a rush to get outside with it that I forgot to remove some of the white protection pads near the wheels haha!
Thank you again Quinny for this super cool stroller, it will sure come with us on many adventures this summer!
And if you too are not afraid of colors and want to brighten up your day with a fun stroller, you can buy it at Albee Baby (on sale now). It also exists in a soft blue with neon green accents!
Sayulita is such an inspiring place, so many colors and pretty hidden spots. There are so many other places I want to visit in Mexico, I can’t wait for the next trip! I hope you enjoy these photos.
A beautiful yarn painted skull at Evoke I wish I had taken home with me!
I often walk by this beautiful pink and blue garage door in my neighborhood (the mission district) and always tell myself I have to come with Lula to take some photos so here we are!
Lula is wearing an Old Navy shirt, a Jujubunny vest (this shop has the cutest clothes for kids), Freshly Picked neon green moccs and how cool are these harem pants offered by Watermelon moon?! We love the fun colorful print and the fabric is so soft, I wish it existed in my size!
I am wearing a Levi’s pink shirt, Emily Green necklace from Leif, Aerie pants and Vans slip-ons.
While riding my bike this week to the studio I realized my Vans perfectly match the color of my bike!
Last weekend we took the train for a long ride (but worth it at the end, watching the sunset from San Luis Obispo to SB was so magical) to Santa Barbara early on Saturday morning. We spent the night there and drove to LA on Sunday, had lunch and did a little bit of shopping (Pebble and Heyoka Hideout) in the dreamy Topanga Canyon on the way. In LA we spent a couple night in this super fun Airstream in Venice, just a few blocks from Abbot Kinney street and the beach. It was a really fun and unique experience! The property has a lot of character and the garden is beautiful. Lula made friend with Felix the bunny and the flamingos. I loved the outdoor shower! Would love to stay there again but maybe during summer, when the nights are warmer.
We went to LACMA for the first time, Lula had so much fun in the noodles and the urban lights! We spent some time at the beach, she loves the sand so much I’ve never seen her that happy. She would just let herself fell on the sand, roll and do some fun figures.
Here are a few pics from our trip! Have a great weekend!
She gave a little kiss goodbye to the flamingo!
A casual style to start the new year, pink and blue. We even found houses that match our outfits!
I am wearing a French Connection hat (old), H&M shirt, Topshop vest, Madewell pants and New Balance sneakers. Lula is wearing Zara hat and coat, Freshly Picked moccs.
From yesterday’s little trip to Tom & Jerry’s crazy house at the top of the hill 21st and church st. in San Francisco. Merry Christmas all, wishing you all the best!
We went back at night to see the lights and the little train. Lula loved it! But Santa Claus made an apparition, she is still not a fan! Maybe next year…
