I often walk by this beautiful pink and blue garage door in my neighborhood (the mission district) and always tell myself I have to come with Lula to take some photos so here we are!
Lula is wearing an Old Navy shirt, a Jujubunny vest (this shop has the cutest clothes for kids), Freshly Picked neon green moccs and how cool are these harem pants offered by Watermelon moon?! We love the fun colorful print and the fabric is so soft, I wish it existed in my size!
I am wearing a Levi’s pink shirt, Emily Green necklace from Leif, Aerie pants and Vans slip-ons.
While riding my bike this week to the studio I realized my Vans perfectly match the color of my bike!
Last weekend we took the train for a long ride (but worth it at the end, watching the sunset from San Luis Obispo to SB was so magical) to Santa Barbara early on Saturday morning. We spent the night there and drove to LA on Sunday, had lunch and did a little bit of shopping (Pebble and Heyoka Hideout) in the dreamy Topanga Canyon on the way. In LA we spent a couple night in this super fun Airstream in Venice, just a few blocks from Abbot Kinney street and the beach. It was a really fun and unique experience! The property has a lot of character and the garden is beautiful. Lula made friend with Felix the bunny and the flamingos. I loved the outdoor shower! Would love to stay there again but maybe during summer, when the nights are warmer.
We went to LACMA for the first time, Lula had so much fun in the noodles and the urban lights! We spent some time at the beach, she loves the sand so much I’ve never seen her that happy. She would just let herself fell on the sand, roll and do some fun figures.
Here are a few pics from our trip! Have a great weekend!
She gave a little kiss goodbye to the flamingo!
The week before Christmas, on a Saturday morning after a couple weeks of intense rain, we took advantage of the few rays of sunshine to go row boating at Stow Lake in the Golden Gate Park. We were not sure how Lula would behave in the boat and how far we could go without her wanting to jump off the boat! She actually did really well and was super excited on this little adventure. Talking to the ducks, wowing at the waterfalls, holding the paddle…
That was our second time at Stow Lake! Here was our first! I can’t wait to do it again!
We ended 2014 in our Moon Boots! We just came back from a fantastic week in Tahoe with friends! See you next week for the year in review!
Have a wonderful weekend and Happy 2015!
On Christmas Eve Lula and I made cookies for Santa and her friends! She had a lot of fun playing with the cookie dough, she ate some (a lot) too. I can’t wait to do it again!
Especially now she has her own kitchen and mixer!
She helped her dad assembling the kitchen!
Ans she loves it! The perfect gift for her!
She also got a piano and a game with shapes for the ipad! It was so fun to see her open the presents, Christmas is so much more magical since becoming a parent.
From yesterday’s little trip to Tom & Jerry’s crazy house at the top of the hill 21st and church st. in San Francisco. Merry Christmas all, wishing you all the best!
We went back at night to see the lights and the little train. Lula loved it! But Santa Claus made an apparition, she is still not a fan! Maybe next year…
Sweet pics of my little family captured by Maria Del Rio at the tree farm last weekend. Lula got to wear her new shoes! Mini NB my sister and her boyfriend got in London for her this summer. Her coat and mine are from Zara, her hat is from H&M and mine from ALL KNITWEAR. I am obsessed with Annie Larson’s handmade hats ans sweaters!
Tomorrow I am finally moving in my new studio! I am super excited. The time has come to have a separate space from home and well organized with my products. Since Lula turned 3 months I had to move my desk from her nursery to our bedroom and it worked until now. But I don’t know where to put all my stuff anymore. I just hope I won’t be too lazy to get ready in the morning and bike there. For the past years I’ve been working in my pi’s most of the days!
In the afternoon I am going to see local makers including a few friends at the West Coast Craft fair. I just wished I had signed up for it and be a vendor myself. Next year!
And on sunday we are going to the Christmas farm to cut our own tree like last year and the year before. It became a tradition and I can’t wait to decorate it with Lula, we’ll see how long the ornaments will last on the tree!
I hope you have a magical weekend!
After a long and lazy rainy morning sleeping in, we decided around 2pm to get out of the house and go for a little hike. We first went to explore Mount Davidson which I’ve heard about for a long time but never went until yesterday. A beautiful view on downtown San Francisco and Sutro tower. Then we decided to go to Ocean beach. It was really magical. I think this is Lula’s favorite place, she is always so happy at the beach. She collected little rocks, ran toward the ocean and back to the sand when the waves were chasing her, got caught by one, me too. My pants were all wet and my rain boots filled with water. We made friends with dogs… A really good way to end the weekend! And another weekend were I tell myself how lucky I am to live in this wonderful city.
And then we had to take off her clothes, wash her face and hands before getting in the new car… I was barely allowed in it, had to remove my boots.

November 18th was my birthday. I turned 31! For the occasion I picked up Lula earlier from daycare and I took her on her first cable car ride! She loved it! She waved to people, dogs…
And we crossed Danny and Mindy on the set of The Mindy Project TV show in a cable car on the opposite side (00:31 in the video). So fun!
We had seafood and french fries for lunch, went to see the Christmas tee, played on the beach, had a hot chocolate at Ghirardelli, played at the beach and end the day with a magical cable car ride back in to downtown. A good birthday afternoon with my favorite person in the whole world.
